Renowned Hong Kong calligrapher Dr. Chui Pui-chee demonstrates the fundamentals of Chinese character writing, encouraging children and adults alike to learn calligraphy, as it, in turn, inspires imagination and  creativity!
The World of Five Elements
The World of Five Elements begets five chapters, namely, Yin Yang Sun and Moon; the Five Elements; the Five Tones that correspond to the Five Elements; the Five Constant Virtues; health brought by the union of the Five Elements. With the games suggested by the book, readers can easily understand the laws of nature, arts, virtues, and health through the concept of “Five Elements” and hence their own relationship with the Five Elements as well as the world around them.

After The Monkey King: Havoc In Calligraphy Metaverse won seven international honours in 2024, another headline event returns this August. Funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and presented by Zuni Icosahedron as part of the Jockey Club Learning Chinese Culture through Arts Tech Theatre Programme 2.0, The Children’s Creative Arts Tech Camp, Big Adventures With Brush and Ink, returns to Yuen Long Theatre with upgraded content, leading children and adults into a new-generation arts-tech calligraphy world that sparks imagination and activates the senses!

2024 KTK Design Award – Global Chinese Design Competition｜Bronze Award (Integrated Design)

The Jockey Club Learning Chinese Culture through Arts Tech Theatre Programme – Calligraphy has won the Bronze Award (Integrated Design) at the 2024 KTK Design Award – Global Chinese Design Competition! 

The list of winners was unveiled on 4 January, 2025. The Jockey Club Learning Chinese Culture through Arts Tech Theatre Programme – Calligraphy underwent two rounds of judging and finally made its mark amidst fierce competition among over 14,000 entries!

Funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, and organised by Zuni, a series of theatre and art programmes on Chinese culture is in the making.

Through arts-tech theatre performances and activities, music and installations, community workshops and internships, the programme engages people from every walk of life to get closer to Chinese culture and explore our traditions, aesthetics and wisdom.
